Denise and Terri sat in a Toyota pickup, traveling on the interstate, with Denise driving, heading toward Atlanta for Terri’s book signing. Terri flew in from New York just for this event. Denise had picked her up last night at the airport, and they had been excited about finally meeting after years of friendship on the Internet.
Up ahead, Terri caught sight of a motorcycle on the emergency lane, and two men were there with it. As they approached, she saw the two men bend over to look at the bike. Her heart skipped a beat at the site of the lean, up-turned asses in tight jeans, and long, long legs.
“Stop! Denise, stop!”
“What?” Denise yelled back, her heart hammering at Terri’s sudden outburst.
“Oh, my God! Pull over!”
Denise swerved over into the emergency lane as she applied the brakes hard. Terri jumped out as soon as the truck slowed enough for her to do so safely. “Come on!”
Denise put the gear in park, switched off the ignition, and then got out to chase after Terri. She had no clue what was going on, because she’d kept her mind and eyes on the driving since traffic was heavy, but she wanted to find out what Terri was after. She gave chase and soon caught up with her, just as she reached the two men at the motorcycle. They were out of breath, but Terri managed a smile. Denise simply froze in her tracks and gawked.
The two men straightened, and both women’s mouths dropped open at the identical height and build of both men, yet their facial features were quite different. One had dark brown eyes and long straight black hair; the other had sky blue eyes and long curly black hair. From the neck down, they’d have passed for identical twins. Muscular arms, broad shoulders that tapered to a narrower waist and lean hips and long legs, all combined to create a sense of meeting gods. They were both incredibly tall; Terri’s guess would probably be over six and a half feet if judging by her little five feet four inches. Denise was taller than her by at least three inches, and she would still look child-like next to them.
Terri, the more brazen of the two, walked over to the blue-eyed man. “What seems to be the trouble?” Her smile was bright.
He smiled at her. “Not sure yet. We had just stopped to check it out.” His deep voice sent a delightful shiver over her.
Denise simply stood there, staring at the man with the brown eyes, feeling like her pants had caught fire between her legs. Her face flamed scarlet, feeling sure he somehow knew she’d gone into instant heat. Absent-mindedly, she crossed her legs at the ankles to hopefully suppress the sudden ache at her crotch. She’d never seen men so gorgeously built, except on TV, and here they were right before her very eyes.
“It’s dangerous here on the freeway,” Terri was saying, her own crotch aching. “Why don’t you load the motorcycle on the truck and we’ll take you to a safer place to work on it? They’d also have a phone, just in case you need to call someone. You can’t very well do that out here, and it’s probably at least five miles to the next exit.”
The brown-eyed man spoke up with a smile that would melt the polar ice caps. Cute dimples appeared in his cheeks. “That’s a small truck. How do you propose all four of us get in it? The two of us would take up the whole interior just with our shoulders alone.”
Terri turned red. “Sorry. I was just trying to help.” Tears of embarrassment stung her eyes, and she turned around to leave. “Come on, Denise. Let’s go.”
“Aww, wait.” The blue-eyed man grabbed her arm. “He didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. It was a practical question. We really appreciate you stopping.”
“Yeah, sure.” She looked at his hand on her arm, then gave him an icy look, her tears drying instantly. She resented it that he was defending his friend, indicating to her that they were too much alike and wouldn’t appreciate a woman or her help. “Seems we can’t be of any help, so we’ll just run along. I have an engagement I’ll be late for, so would you please take your hand off me?”
He let his hand drop. “We could ride on the back. Just ignore him.”
Terri looked up at him, the blue of his eyes captivating her, and then she looked at the man with the brown eyes. “We were trying to be nice. Obviously, it’s unappreciated.” She looked back at the blue-eyed wonder. “Sorry to have bothered you and wasted your time. And mine.” The last was added sarcastically.
He smiled unexpectedly, and Terri wondered if perhaps he was trying to control a fit of laughter. She gave him a narrowed, suspicious look.
“It’s never a waste of time to meet a lovely lady,” he said, taking her completely by surprise.
“We have to go,” she suddenly stated. “Come on, Denise.”
“Wait,” the man with brown eyes finally said. “I’m sorry. I’d like to accept your offer of a ride to the next exit. We can ride on the back. It’s not that far.”
“Unless you’d like to sit in my lap?” the blue-eyed god said.
Terri’s spine stiffened. She looked at Denise to find out why she hadn’t said anything. With that quick temper, she felt sure Denise should have been just as miffed at their attitude as she herself was. Denise simply stood there, arms crossed under her ample breasts, feet crossed at the ankles as if she were trying not to piss her pants, and she simply gawked at the man with brown eyes.
She reached over and grabbed Denise’s arm. “Let’s go. These pricks have had all of my time they’re getting.”
“My name is Cole,” stated the blue-eyed-now-ex-god. He’d suddenly lost his crown in Terri’s eyes. He held out his hand for a shake toward Terri. “I’m sorry. I was just joking about sitting in my lap.”
“I’ll just bet you were,” Terri snapped, ignoring his offered hand. “If I want a dick up my ass, I’ll buy a butt plug.”
The brown-eyed man tried to suppress a laugh, and Terri shot him an icy glare. Denise finally snapped out of her coma and giggled as she realized what Terri said. It was then that the brown-eyed man looked at Denise and smiled. He held out his hand.
“Hi, I’m Cole.”
Denise put her small hand in his larger one, immediately noticing how controlled his strength was. Warmth crept up her arm and spread down her body. “I’m Denise.”
“Wait a damn minute!” Terri snapped. “What are you two trying to pull? He just said his name....”
“We have the same first name,” the blue-eyed snake replied, cutting off her words. “I call him CD so we don’t sound like we’re talking to ourselves. He calls me Cole.”
Terri looked at him suspiciously, not believing a word he said, wondering if he would show his fangs at any second. She looked at her watch. “I’m going to be late.”
Denise reluctantly removed her hand from CD’s. “We really have to go. If you want a ride to where we’re going, you should load that thing up and let’s get moving. I have some bungee straps on the truck you can use.”
“Thanks,” he replied, then motioned to Cole for help.
The men pushed the motorcycle to where the truck sat parked, then, as if it weighed nothing, the two men lifted it up and onto the back of the truck. Terri watched with displeasure, even though she was taken aback by their strength. She crossed her arms under her breasts, and tapped her right foot as she watched.
Denise ran and grabbed the bungee straps from behind the seat in the cab of the truck and hurried back to hand them to CD.
While they strapped the motorcycle securely, Terri marched over and got back into the cab of the truck on the passenger side, slamming the door shut.
Once the motorcycle was stable, the men jumped on the back of the truck, their backs to the cab, one on each side of the front tire of the motorcycle.
Denise got in behind the steering wheel, started the truck, and then reached behind her to slide open the back window. “You guys ready?”
“Yep,” CD called back.
“Sure are,” Cole answered, turning so that he could see the interior of the truck. “You never did tell me your name.”
The statement went to Terri, causing her to look at him. “No, I didn’t.” She didn’t want to look at him, and she turned away and stared out the front windshield.
When it seemed she was not going to tell him her name, he asked, “What kind of engagement are you going to?”
She turned her head and looked at him with a cocked eyebrow and a look of disgust, then she turned back to look out the front window again.
Denise piped in, “Terri’s a writer, and she has a book signing today at the mall. That’s where we’re going.”
Cole smiled. “Terri, huh? A writer? What do you write?”
Terri gave a groan. Denise’s mouth was overloading her little ass! To her dismay, Denise supplied, “Romance. You would love her books!”
“I’m not a romance reader,” he admitted.
Terri looked at him then. “No kidding? I’d have never guessed it with all that charm you possess! Maybe you should read some and take notes!” She reached over and snapped the window shut, causing CD to laugh and Denise to reach and re-open it.
“Will you just drive?” Terri remarked, wanting the men off the truck as soon as possible. She couldn’t very well say much since it wasn’t her truck, not to mention it was her idea to stop. “I don’t want that jackass to know anything about me. He’s an arrogant prick.”
Denise grinned. “You were the one yelling to pull over.”
“A mistake I regret,” she replied, turning her head to look out the side window.
“Awww, now,” came from CD who had now put his face to the small window opening. “Don’t be mad. We weren’t sure why you stopped. Obviously, you don’t know who we are anymore than we know you.”
Terri snapped her head around and came almost nose-to-nose with him. She lost her composure for a moment as she looked into his brown eyes and found a sparkle. When he smiled, dimples appeared in his cheeks and his breath fanned her cheek, she moved her head back so that she wasn’t in such close proximity. She had a feeling this one was going to charm the pants right off Denise the first chance he got!
“How am I supposed to know who you are?” she finally managed. “Are you some kind of celebrity?” She looked at his muscled arms and wide shoulders. “Are you some kind of body-builder or stunt man we’re supposed to be drooling over?”
He smiled again, then chuckled softly as he shook his head. He turned away from the window.
Denise spoke when she noticed the man’s actions. “I know who they are. That’s why I was speechless when I saw them.”
Terri looked at her. “Well? Who are they?”
“Take a really good look, Terri.” Denise used her thumb to indicate the men on the back of her truck. “You’re a wrestling fan, too.”
She quickly twisted around in her seat to take a better look as she said, “I haven’t watched wrestling in years, ever since Rage disappeared.” She took in the looks of CD as he now faced the back of the truck. To her dismay, she didn’t recognize him even though she felt she should have. Then she looked at the back of the other man. She tapped on the window, causing Cole to turn, then he poked his face into the open window.
“You want something?” he asked, suddenly smiling.
Terri studied his face for a long moment, and then realized he’d lost weight, making his face slimmer. His eyes were the same vivid blue, however, and it was the first time she’d ever seen him smile, or this close. She felt hot tears sting her eyes, and before she could think to stop herself, her hand came up to touch his cheek.
“Oh, God,” she breathed. “It’s you.”
“Yeah, I’m me all right,” he quipped. “I was me when you stopped and talked to me.”
Denise giggled. “You need to stop. You’re gonna make me run off the road.”
Terri’s face flamed scarlet. “You’re really Cole. You used to wrestle as Rage.”
“I told you my name was Cole. Rage was a long time ago.” His smile remained, noticing that her hand remained on his cheek. He moved his head and kissed her palm, causing her to jerk her hand back. “Now that you know who I am, can we kiss and make up?”
Denise giggled again, and the truck swerved a bit, then she gained control once more. “Oops!”
Terri’s face turned bright red again, and she suddenly felt like an intimidated star struck teenager. Rage. She had fallen head over heels for him the first time she’d set eyes on him. She was certain she was too old for crushes, and as deep as her feelings had gone, she knew it had to be love. She hadn’t recognized him at first because he’d trimmed down considerably, and he’d trimmed his beard to a thin line around his jaw. However, there was no mistaken those blue, blue eyes and that long curly hair now that she had taken the time to look more closely.
Now that she knew who he was, that she was finally face to face with the man she had loved for years, she wasn’t so sure that he would actually give her the time of day. She refused to think about that. He wouldn’t want her. She had always felt she wasn’t the kind of woman a man looked at twice, so a man like Cole wasn’t going to think of her again once they were off the truck. She had the most powerful urge to kiss him, wanting to taste those lips at least once, but fear of rejection stopped her. She forced herself to turn back around and look out the front windshield, refusing to allow the tears to fall that scalded her gray eyes.
Denise kept moving her eyes from the rearview mirror to the road and back again. She could see CD’s head and shoulders, and when he turned his head to speak to Cole, she caught sight of the side of his face. She bit her bottom lip as warmth spread through her body. What she would give to have one day with him. Hell, just a couple of hours!

Denise took the exit off the freeway, made the necessary twists and turns, arriving at the bookstore only ten minutes before the book signing was to begin. When the two women got out of the truck, Terri didn’t glance back as she headed for the bookstore. Denise locked the truck, then turned to the two men.
“You can unload the motorcycle here and put it in a parking space to work on it. Nobody will care. There’s a motorcycle shop just around behind the bookstore on that side street.” She pointed to the street that ran beside the bookstore. “It happens to be a Harley shop. I’m glad I got to meet the two of you.” She looked at CD specifically. “You can call me sometime if you want.”
CD smiled, dimples appearing in his cheeks. “How about dinner tonight to thank you for the lift?”
Denise smiled, her heart fluttering crazily. “I’d love it! What time?”
“What time will the two of you be finished here?”
“She’s scheduled for three hours.”
CD looked at his watch. “That works. We should have the bike fixed by then. If not, we’ll figure something out.”
Denise’s smile grew brighter. “OK. Meet us back here in three hours?”
“Absolutely.” He motioned for Cole to help him with the motorcycle. “See you then, sweet stuff!”
With her heart still fluttering crazily, and her stomach doing a little jig, she hurried to catch up with Terri, who was already entering the store. Denise wondered if she would be upset that they were going out to dinner with the guys. She assumed Cole would come along, and further assumed he’d want to get to know Terri. Terri, on the other hand, might get a little miffed. Denise bit her bottom lip and hoped for the best.

Denise sat beside Terri and helped by opening books to the page Terri would be signing, then she would slide the book over in front of her as the person who purchased it would step down the line. After an hour and a half, Terri announced her intentions of a ten-minute break, asking patrons to be patient while she took a short breather. Everyone seemed to understand, and she urged Denise to go with her to find a soft drink.
“What do you think?” Terri asked Denise.
“Of the book signing?” When Terri nodded, Denise said, “I think it’s cool! This book is going places. I hope they make a movie from it. That would be so awesome!”
Terri put dollar bills in the vending machine they’d found at the back of the store. “I’m pleased. I never thought I’d actually see myself as some kind of celebrity, but this seems to have put me in that status. It’s still unreal.”
Denise smiled. “Puts you right up there with others to be admired.” She accepted the drink Terri purchased for her. “Like Cole.” She lifted her drink slightly. “Thanks.”
“Sure.” She took a swallow of her own drink. “I finally meet the one man I have loved for too many years to count, only to discover I don’t know if I like him at all. He certainly can’t think much of me right now.”
“I think he’s cute.”
“Oh, he’s cute all right. Down right sexy. I just don’t know if I like his attitude.”
“Attitude? Oh, come on! The man was flirting with you non-stop! I thought he was being cute and funny.”
Terri sighed. “He was not flirting with me. I’m too old for that anyway. He was being a smartass.”
“He was not! He was flirting!” Denise studied her for a moment and saw the trace of tears fill her friend’s eyes. “What is it, Terri? Cole really was flirting with you. Give him a chance and find out for yourself.”
“You don’t understand. This is Cole. Sex god on two human feet. Doesn’t matter anyway. I finally met him, screwed it up royally, and now they’re gone. So, it makes no difference.”
“They aren’t gone. We...uh.... well...”
Terri looked at her with suspicion. “We what? What did you do?”
Denise shifted uncomfortably. “CD was being so cute...and he’s just the sexiest thing alive...and well, he wanted to offer dinner as a thank you for the lift. I accepted.”
Terri sighed heavily. “OK. You go have dinner with him. I can take a cab back to the hotel. That’s no problem. Let me know how it goes.”
Denise’s face went scarlet. “No, you don’t understand...I said ‘we’ as in you and me.... are having dinner. With both of them.”
“Oh my God, you didn’t!” When Denise nodded, Terri’s mouth dropped open. “You set me up with a dinner date? I can’t believe you did that! Cole doesn’t want anything else to do with me!”
“He does, too! He was right there when CD asked, and I said we’d love to go. They’re meeting us back at the truck when you finish here.”
“Holy hell! If you weren’t my friend, I’d...I’d.... oh, I don’t know what I’d do!”
Denise smiled. “You could try, ‘Thanks, Denise, I get to spend time with him and see if he will like me.’ That would help!”
Her eyes sparkled with hope. “Yeah, maybe.”
“Maybe he already does.”
Terri waved a hand at her. “Oh, go on. He does not.”
“Go sign your books. We can find out in an hour and a half.”

For the next hour and a half, both women watched the clock, eager to find out if the two men would actually show up and be waiting for them. Five minutes before the book signing was due to end, the bookstore security started cutting off the line.
“I think I’m getting writer’s cramp,” Terri told Denise in a low voice, flexing the fingers of her right hand. “I’m going to have to find a more comfortable pen to write with.”
“I can see why! I didn’t expect this many people!”
“Me, either,” Terri admitted. She sighed heavily but happily. “I’m tired.”
“Not too tired for one more, I hope,” came a deep, male voice that caused them both to look up. Towering over them was Cole, looking at Terri with those incredibly beautiful blue eyes, and that serious expression she had known for many years. He gave her a copy of her book. “Can you make it, ‘To Cole,’ please?”
“I thought you didn’t read romances,” she stated, unable to take her eyes off his handsome face.
“I decided to take your advice. I’m going to read it and see just what it is you like in a man.”
Terri’s face flamed scarlet to the roots of her hair. She looked down to hide her embarrassment. “You can get a refund.”
“I don’t want a refund. I want the book, and I want you to sign it.”
Not knowing what to say to that, she pulled the book to her and signed it.
To Cole,
The man who inspires every book I have written and will write in the future. Love, Terri
She closed the book and slid it over to him, relieved that he didn’t open it back up to see what she had written. Grateful that he was last in the line, she put her pen in her purse and got up. She looked at Denise, who stood beside her, smiling like the cat who swallowed the canary. She indicated with her head to the right, and Terri shifted her eyes to find CD standing nearby.
“You’re really crazy about him, huh?”
Denise’s face went pink. “Yeah. Big time.”
“In that case, I won’t ruin your evening by turning down dinner. Come on. Let’s go before you cream your pants.”
“Hey, don’t tell me you wouldn’t jump Cole’s bones if you had the chance!”
Terri grinned. “Ok. I won’t tell you.” They both laughed.
As they moved around the table and out of the roped off area where the women had sat during the signing, the two men joined them. Equally nervous, they walked ahead of the men to the parking lot.
When they reached the truck, Denise looked up at CD. “Did you get the motorcycle fixed?”
“Yes, thanks to you. I really appreciate it that you stopped.”
She lowered her head to hide her embarrassment. “You’re welcome. Glad we could help.”
“Where would you like to eat?” CD asked to everyone.
Denise and Terri looked at each other and shrugged. “Neither of us are from around here,” Terri stated, “so we don’t know.”
“We’re not from here, either. We’re from New York. We were just taking a ride across the states and were heading back,” CD supplied. “Where are the two of you from?”
“I’m from a little town near here,” Denise answered for herself. “The only reason I knew about the motorcycle shop was bringing my brother once, and calling for direction to the bookstore for her. Terri’s from New York.”
Cole perked up. “Where in New York?”
“No where you’d have heard of, I’m sure,” she replied. She then told him the name of her little town.
“Not only do I know where it is, but I live there as well. Know where Redwine Plantation is?”
Her eyes went wide. “Actually, I do. I’m not far from there.”
Cole smiled. “Cool! That’s where I live. So, where would you like to eat? I’m sure that whatever New York has, Atlanta has.”
Denise looked around and spotted a steakhouse sign down the highway. She suggested going there. The others agreed, then CD stated, “We took the liberty of getting a rental car. That way we can be comfortable. We can leave your truck here and bring you ladies back later. Is that ok?”
They both nodded, and CD took Denise’s hand and pulled it into the crook of his arm. “Shall we?”
She couldn’t resist the smile that tugged at her lips. “By all means!”
Behind them, Cole offered his arm to Terri. After hesitating a brief moment, she placed her hand around the bend of his arm, and allowed him to lead the way to the car.

Dinner of traditional steaks and potatoes, served with fresh salads and wine, satisfied everyone’s hunger. At least for food. So much sexual tension emitted from Denise and CD toward each other, Terri almost told them to get a room and go at it, but she kept quiet because Cole made her feel a bit inadequate in his presence. It wasn’t anything he said or did, but only because it was the man himself. She had to force her meal down, and quite frankly wanted to get out as soon as possible.
Denise and CD seemed to have other plans, if the looks exchanged between them were anything to go by. They were practically undressing each other with looks alone! Terri thought they needed a bib in case they started drooling all over themselves at any second.
Unaware that Cole was watching her, Terri stared at her glass of wine as she ran her thumbnail down the stem. She felt like an outcast. While she loved Cole, and desperately would give anything she owned to have him look at her the way CD looked at Denise, she couldn’t bring herself to show it. She had become an expert at hiding her feelings over the years, and had tolerated life as it had been dealt to her. Nobody had ever cared what Terri had felt, wanted, needed, or did, except herself. Because of that, she didn’t reveal any of those wants, needs, desires, or feelings to anyone, and after awhile she had learned to take one day at a time until she could get her divorce, and then she pleased only herself.
“Hey,” came Cole’s deep voice close to her ear. “You seem lost in thought. Are you ok?”
Terri snapped from her thoughts and looked at him, forcing a small smile. “I’m fine. Thanks.” She finished the last of her wine, then picked up her purse. “I think I should go. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. It was really nice.”
Cole put his hand on her arm. “Are you still mad at me for joking around?”
“No.” She looked at Denise. “Have a nice time. I’ll see you later. I’ll find a way to the hotel.”
“You came with me, so I’ll take you back,” Denise said, about to get up.
“I’ll take you back,” Cole offered. “Denise has the truck, and CD has the motorcycle. They can take care of themselves, I’m sure.”
Denise and CD looked at each other, then at Terri. CD then said, “We’re all having a good time, so what say we all go back to Denise’s place? That way we don’t have to worry about who is driving what to where. We can then decide what to do for the rest of the evening. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want it to end just yet. Is that ok with everyone?”
“How do you propose we do that?” Terri had to know.
“We’ll put the motorcycle on the back of the truck again. I’ll ride with her, and you can ride with Cole in the rental.”
“Sounds good to me,” Cole stated, smiling brightly.
Surprised by his answer, Terri looked at him. “Are you sure? You really don’t owe us anything, you know.”
Cole looked at her, his expression gone a little serious. “I know that. I’d like to get to know you.”
The statement came so sincerely that Terri was completely taken aback. “I’d like to get to know you, too,” came out before she could stop it. The statement made Cole smile and Terri blushed.
CD got up and offered his hand to Denise. After she rose, he tossed a large bill on the table to cover the meal and a generous tip.

Back at the parking lot where Denise had left her truck and the men had left the motorcycle, the two men loaded the bike on the truck once again, then secured it with the bungee straps Denise once more supplied. She was anxious to show CD where she lived, and maybe get some time alone with him.
Terri watched the men secure the bike with the straps, nervously watching Cole. His muscles rippled and bulged under strain, yet it didn’t seem like much of an effort for either of them to lift the heavy motorcycle that now filled the back of the truck. When they were sure it was stable and secure, CD turned to Denise.
“Ready?” he asked.
“Oh, yeah,” she answered, wanting to add, ‘ready and willing for you, big boy.’ Instead, she kept her mouth shut, and smiled sexily.
When CD grinned and moved around the truck to get into the passenger side, Cole walked over to where Terri stood. “You said you’re staying at a hotel?”
She nodded. “I’m to check out tomorrow morning. I have one more book signing for mid-day, then I head back home right after that. Are you two staying in Atlanta?”
“We were just passing through, actually. I’m more inclined to stay at least until tomorrow now.” His eyes met hers, and he couldn’t help noticing the smile that lit up her eyes, so different than the somber look from earlier.
Terri saw that Denise had gotten into the truck and started the engine. “I guess we’d better go. Looks like they’re in a hurry.”
Cole laughed. “Yeah, you could say that.” He looked at her with sparkling eyes, a much too sexy smile, and she fell in love all over again, only this time it was up close and real. Cole studied her face for a moment, then reached out and put his hand on her upper arm. “Let’s go before they leave us, and we get lost.”
“Good idea!”
Terri let him guide her back to the rental car, where Cole opened the door for her, waited for her to get in, and then he closed the door. He went around the car and got in behind the wheel.
Minutes later, they were on the freeway once again, heading in the opposite direction they had come that morning.

They arrived at Fossil Creek Apartments, where Denise parked her truck in a space near her door. Cole pulled into a space beside the truck, and within minutes, they had the motorcycle unloaded and in a space beside the truck. Denise led the way into her one bedroom apartment, and invited everyone to have a seat. She offered coffee, which everyone chose to decline. Denise sat beside CD on the sofa, and Terri chose a comfortable chair, while Cole sat on the arm of it beside her.
Both Cole and Terri noticed how close Denise sat beside CD, and how he’d put his arm around her and was playing with her long, dark, curly hair.
Cole turned to Terri and in a low voice, said, “Maybe we should make ourselves scarce for awhile. Want to go for a drive?”
Terri’s face went pink. “I think that might be wise.” She got up. “If you don’t mind, would you take me over to the hotel where I’m staying?”
“Sure.” He got to his feet and offered Terri his hand, and she accepted by placing her fingers on his. “Whatever the pretty lady wants.”
“I think she wants CD,” she remarked, getting to her feet.
“I meant you.”
“Oh...I...oh.” Her face flamed once again.
Cole took her hand, then leaned over and brushed his lips against her cheek. “Come on.”
If Cole hadn’t urged her with him by tugging her hand, Terri couldn’t have moved. The touch of his lips on her skin seared through her like a burst of fire and had rooted her to the spot.
Just before going out the door, Terri turned around to see that CD had Denise in a passionate lip lock that didn’t seem about to let up any time soon. She closed the door with a smile, thinking to herself, Get you some of that fine hunk, girl!

CD’s kisses were more passionate than Denise had expected. When his soft, warm, moist lips touched hers, she melted against him, but when his tongue invaded her mouth, she lost all thought and all control. It was when his arms circled about her and pulled her close, then actually lifted her across him so that she straddled him on the couch, then crushed her against his massive chest, that Denise felt her juices flow. She couldn’t stop the low moan that escaped her, captured by CD’s mouth on hers.
Denise wrapped her arms around CD’s neck and pressed herself even closer. Being held by those massive, powerful arms was all she wanted, and now that it was happening, it wasn’t enough. She wanted all of him. In every way she could take him.
CD’s hands roamed her body. Up her back, across her hips, down her thighs, up her stomach, and cupped her breasts to massage gently but firmly. Her nipples instantly hardened like marbles at his touch. One of his large hands ran down the front of her to her crotch. She knew her jeans had absorbed the wetness, and she was very wet.
When CD felt the wetness, he gently broke the kiss and looked at her. “I want to taste you,” he whispered. “I want you naked beneath me. I want to open you up for me, make you breathless, make you scream out my name. I want you so satisfied you can’t move.”
The sound of his deep voice, the way he said the words as if they were a promise of something wild but unknown, and the look of pure desire in his eyes, had Denise quivering with passion and need. She felt the beginning of an orgasm start to build, and she gave in to it as it coursed through her. The man had barely touched her!
CD saw what was happening to her, felt more moisture at the crotch of her jeans, and he pressed his fingers into the material and moved them against her. Denise moaned, let her head fall back, her eyes closed, and she gave in to the feelings he brought out in her. Before she knew his intentions, he wrapped his arms around her, and in a smooth move, he rose, taking her with him, getting up from the sofa. Denise wrapped her arms and legs around him, still lost in the effects of her orgasm, as he carried her to the bedroom.
In moments, he had her stripped, then he undressed himself. He stood looking at her small, sexy body, and his desire grew. He watched Denise as she let her eyes rove over him, settling for a long moment at his very large, very erect manhood. She had never seen a man that well endowed, and she wondered if she could even take him. She certainly wanted to try!
When CD put one knee on the bed, and reached for her legs to spread them, she willingly let him do as he wished, certain he would do her no harm. He leaned over, pushing her legs up so that her knees went back against her breasts. Opening her like a blossoming flower, he saw the moisture he’d caused, and he smiled. He knew he was about to make her feel like one hell of a woman. Dipping his head, he snaked out his tongue and flicked her clit. Denise sucked in her breath and quivered. Without hesitation, he ran his tongue around the folds, tasting her. She smelled sweet, and tasted even sweeter. While he savored the taste of her, licking around her clit, gathering the moisture on his tongue, then sipping it into his mouth, Denise entwined her fingers into his hair and pulled his face closer to her.
“Oh, God,” she breathed. “You’re driving me crazy. You’re going to make me cum.”
Hearing her words, brought from her by rising passion, CD lifted her legs farther back so that her butt was lifted off the mattress, giving him freer access to her most private parts. He teased around her opening, and when he heard her suck air between her teeth, he shoved his tongue deep into her. He curled his tongue then swirled it around inside her as he sucked on her. Denise started to tremble and her breathing grew even more uneven and ragged. Her fingers tightened in his hair. He lifted his head and slammed his tongue into her, swirled it inside her, then he lifted his head to suck her clit into his hungry mouth. As he sucked, his teeth gently clamped around the delicate tissue, and the tip of his tongue flicked around the center bud with lightning fast strokes.
Denise became lost in the feelings. Thinking was impossible. She could only feel. Everything in the universe seemed to be centered on what he was doing. Her body tightened, and with a small cry, her body erupted and convulsed in an orgasm that set lights off behind her closed eyelids.
CD was quick to move, leaving her clit, and snaking his tongue down to her ass. When he shoved his tongue into her, Denise couldn’t stop the low scream that tore from her. She released her hold on his hair and started tearing at the sheet on the bed as a more powerful orgasm shot through her. She convulsed and spasmed, her juices ran from her and down her ass, and CD sucked in what he could, reveling in the fact that he could please her so well.
When he knew that her orgasm had started to subside, he moved over her and brought her legs up around the bends of his arms. Gently, so as not to hurt her, he eased himself toward her, and pushed the head of his massive cock into her.
Her breath caught, surprised at how just the head stretched her, but she didn’t want him to stop. She reached down and put her hands on his lean hips and pulled him toward her.
“God, you’re tight,” he whispered. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You’re not,” she whispered back. “I want you in me. Deep and hard.”
CD rocked himself against her, easing himself into her a little at a time, letting her juices coat his hard cock. When he was almost all the way into her, he pulled back out, leaving only the head in her, then in a smooth, long, slow move, he plunged back into her to the hilt, the head of his cock deep at her womb. He rotated his hips, grinding his pelvis to hers, making the coarse hairs around his cock stimulate her clit.
“God, CD,” she managed, her breathing ragged. “Just…”
He didn’t need further urging. CD moved in and out of her in long, slow strokes, his arms holding her legs wide apart. When Denise’s nails dug into his hips, his strokes became faster, plunging deeply each time, rocking her body. Her body jerked with his onslaught into her. Harder and faster he drove his cock into her, and Denise wanted nothing more than to cum around him, have him cum into her. She tightened her inner muscles around him, and with each stroke, she milked his cock inside her.
CD thought he would explode when her insides tightened and released with each stroke. He clamped his teeth to hold back as he pounded himself into her hot wet flesh. She met his thrusts, driving him even deeper into her. Just when CD thought he couldn’t hold back, the dam within Denise burst and she poured her hot juices around his pounding cock.
Slick with her juices, he withdrew from her, then rolled her over to her stomach, and lifted her by the waist until her ass was close to him. Holding her still with one hand, he held his slick, still hard cock, and put the head against her ass. He eased forward, and when the head was inside her, she gasped.
“Oh, yeah! I want all of you!”
CD also wanted all of him inside her hot, tight little ass. Slow and easy, he pushed forward, soon burying himself deep into her ass. He felt Denise quiver, and she slammed her ass back against him. CD had to grit his teeth to keep from exploding. Without further hesitation, he withdrew all but the head, then entered her again. When Denise slammed her ass against him again, CD couldn’t maintain his control. He pulled his cock back, and then rammed it into her hard and fast. Denise bucked against him. With both hands on each side of her waist, he pushed her as he withdrew, then pulled her back as he slammed deep into her.
Denise’s body bounced and jerked with each thrust, and she drove herself against him as hard as he thrust into her. The passion built like a raging tornado in both of them.
“I’m going to cum,” CD told her in a ragged, deep voice.
Denise felt him grow even harder and bigger, if that were at all possible, and the feelings he generated, combined with the husky sound of his passion filled voice, became her undoing. Denise gripped the bed sheet as her body tightened. CD reached under her and lightly pinched her clit, then shook it.
“Oh shit!” Denise squealed, then her body slammed back against him as she spasmed with her orgasm. Unable to hold back, CD exploded deep in her ass, loading her with his hot cum. As spurt after spurt erupted into her, her own juices flowed over his fingers and dripped onto the bed. Denise collapsed face down on the bed, and CD went down with her, catching his weight on his hands. When their orgasms subsided, he withdrew and fell to her side. Both heaved in air, both were coated with perspiration, and neither could even dare move for a long moment. When CD could finally move, he pulled Denise into his massive arms, and they fell into an exhausted sleep.

Cole followed the directions Terri gave him to the hotel near Denise’s apartment. She wasn’t really sure what to say to him, therefore, she kept talk to a bare minimum, only speaking when he had to make a turn, or if he asked her a question. To both her relief and dismay, his questions weren’t personal. Obviously, he wasn’t interested in anything but getting rid of her. She should have been glad, but she wasn’t. Her entire life had been one long misery, but the day she had seen him as Rage, her heart had blossomed. No one had ever managed to do that to her before. Now, she had the distinct feeling she would have to close off her heart once again, and bury her feelings for this man forever.
When she pointed out the hotel sign just up ahead, Cole slowed. Within a minute, he turned onto the parking lot, then into a space near the road rather than asking her which room she was in.
He turned to look at her. “I really don’t want to leave you just yet. Do you have to go right this instant?”
Taken by complete surprise, she looked at him with wide eyes filled with uncertainty. “Why?” The question was blurted before she could stop it.
It was Cole’s turn to look surprised. “Because I like you. I like being with you. It’s nice.”
That had not been what she had expected at all. Her face flamed scarlet and she looked away to hide her embarrassment. The next moment, she felt his fingers touch her chin, and when he urged her to turn her head, she did so.
“I have a feeling you don’t trust men very much. Has someone mistreated you?”
Scalding tears filled her eyes before she could blink them away. “Not in a physical sense.”
“Verbal can be just as damaging.”
“Yeah,” she agreed. “He made me feel that his cheating was my fault, that I was pretty worthless. He slept with his brother’s wife, and when I found out and faced them both with it, she said he wouldn’t have had to look elsewhere if I was more of a woman.”
“So you’ve been carrying this around for how long?” His hand moved to let his fingers brush away the tiny tears that tried to escape from her gray eyes.
“Eleven years,” Terri admitted.
“Damn,” he swore softly.
The next instant, Cole had her in his arms and his lips were on hers, softly at first, then more demanding as he deepened the kiss.
Terri’s breath froze, her body heated, and her blood scorched her veins. Nothing could have prepared her for the sensations that coursed through her at that instant. Without thinking, her hands moved to his broad, hard chest, and her fingers curled into the material of his cotton shirt. When his tongue touched her lips, she opened her mouth to give him access.
Not realizing how long and thick his tongue was, Terri moaned with ecstasy when his tongue delved deeply into her mouth, probing and exploring every inch, dueling with her own tongue, then drawing it into his hot mouth to gently suck and sip. Her breathing became ragged and uneven, her heart raced and pounded against her breastbone, and she felt she would catch fire at any given second.
Cole’s strong arms wrapped more tightly around Terri then pulled her across the seat to him, to crush her against his powerful chest. His lips trailed fiery kisses along the side of her neck, unknowing that this was her most sensitive erogenous zone. Terri, not knowing what was happening to her, felt the moisture flow from her body and dampen her panties, causing her to quiver.
“Cole,” she whispered, giving into the sensations he’d created. If she didn’t have him inside her soon, she would die right there in his arms. Her pride would not allow her to ask him to make love to her. Fear of rejection caused her to snap to her senses, and she eased away from him, her body trembling.
Cole’s hands went to her head, cradling it as he looked at her. “I want to make love to you,” he admitted, his voice husky with passion, his eyes glazed with desire.
With a nod, since speaking was something she could not do, Cole put his arm around her and with his free hand; he put the car in reverse and backed out of the space.
“What room?”
“Around the side. Room 212. On the upper level.”
Without a word, Cole drove around to the side of the building, saw the room numbers on the doors, and when he spotted the room, he parked the car and got out. Before Terri could scoot back across the car and open the door, Cole was there, opening it for her and offering a hand to help her out. When she put her hand in his, she couldn’t help noticing how his large hand engulfed her smaller one, and when she got out of the car to stand next to him, she again realized just how massive a man he really was. She felt tiny and feminine at that moment, things she had not felt in far too many years.
Cole closed the door of the car, and then took Terri’s hand as he led the way up the steps and to the room. Terri fumbled in her purse for the passkey, and when she had it, Cole took it and opened the door. He then turned on the room light and looked around, making sure it was safe. He then turned to Terri and gave her back the passkey. She went into the room ahead of him. Cole followed. He closed and locked the door, then turned to see that Terri had sat down on the foot of the bed. She looked lost and uncertain, very fragile and scared, causing his heart to go out to her.
He crossed over to where she sat and stooped down in front of her. He put his hand on her cheek as he said, “I have no intention of hurting you. If you change your mind, just say the word, and I’ll stop. Just know that it won’t change anything. I’ll still want to see you when we’re both back in New York.”
She had not expected to hear that. Truthfully, she hadn’t expected anything, but had only hoped. Even then, she felt that if anything did develop, it would only be a one-night stand. She had quickly decided that one night with Cole would be better than no night ever. Not expecting him to be really truthful, for she had been lied to before, she simply nodded, and leaned forward to offer her lips to him. Cole gladly accepted, kissing her more gently than she had expected. The kiss lasted only a moment, for Cole moved back and stood to his full height. He held out a hand.
“How about a shower?”
Terri’s cheeks turned crimson. “I’ve never had a shower with anyone before.”
“Best way to start the evening,” he remarked, his hand steady.
“No one has ever seen me naked.” The words came barely above a whisper.
Surprised, Cole stooped back down to look at her. “Nobody’s ever taken your clothes off you and made love to you with the lights on?”
She shook her head, unable to look at him. “I don’t think he liked it with me very much. He always turned the lights off, and I always wore a nightgown and panties. He just pushed them to the side and got on with it. Usually five minutes and it was over.”
“Holy shit,” he breathed, and got to his feet.
Terri’s eyes filled with scalding tears of humiliation. “I’m sorry,” she managed, then covered her face with her hands.
“Hey,” he said softly, taking her wrists and pulling her hands from her face. He pulled her to her feet. “There isn’t a single thing for you to be sorry for.” He lifted her chin until she looked at him. “Come on.”
He led the way to the small bathroom, and turned to face Terri. Before he touched her, he removed his shirt, revealing a massive chest of finely chiseled muscles. Coarse short hair covered his chest, trailing down his stomach in a fine line that met with the waist of his jeans. Terri bit her lip as she fought the desire to run her hands across the chest that she had always found totally irresistible. She watched him toss the shirt on the counter at the sink, then he reached out to put his hands at her waist to draw her closer to him.
“I think you’re going to enjoy this,” he stated, then reached to turn on the hot water. “I’m going to make sure.” He then reached for the buttons of her blouse. Deftly, his large fingers maneuvered the buttons, and in mere moments had them undone and had pushed the garment from her shoulders. It slid down her arms, and when he had it free of her body, he put it aside on top of his own shirt.
Embarrassment flowed over her when Cole’s eyes took in the fullness of her breasts covered by the lacy bra. With both hands, he smoothed his fingertips across her shoulders, then down her chest, and along the top lines of her bra. Terri’s skin caught fire at his touch, sending heat throughout her body. Her nipples hardened, pushing against the lacy material. Cole’s hands cupped her breasts, massaged them, then his thumb brushed across the hardened peaks, teasing them until they throbbed.
