DARK ACTIVITIES
Ashley walked home from school with roses on her cheeks. She ambled inside and closed the door with an additional push in order to pronounce that she was finally home. She sucked in a breath of sweet air, and then she skipped down the hall in order to head towards the phone. Ashley phoned up her friends mobile, and pouted when the message bank switched on. She played with the chord a little, and then she left a message which said that she was home.
Ashley hung up the phone and then turned around in order to face the corridor. She immediately jumped as she spied a shadow that had dark eyes which seemed to twinkle a little in the dim light. Ashley felt her heart flutter, and for a moment it made her feel quite faint. In another instant she turned the light-switch on, and it was immediately revealed who the shadow was.
“Father!” she cried out in a sweet tone. “How are you?” she asked as she moved in order to pass him.
Ashley slowed her steps - as she neared the image she immediately found that near the wall was a hand that cradled a beer bottle. The brown glass twinkled as a shard of light caught it and made its brown glass gold and translucent. She felt her fears ride with that shard of light, and immediately she moved in order to pass the image of haunt.
Ashley felt her throat choke as she neared the strong statue of her father. She felt a clinch within her throat as she smelt in the scent of yeasty beer. It was so strong it hung around her father's image like perfume. She cleared her throat as her mind began to buzz with alarm, and then she steadily moved to pass.
Ashley stepped around the figure, and turned grim as the back of her wrist scraped against his limp arm. She shuddered as she passed as she grew a great fear that he was more then a little drunk. Ashley felt her spine tingle with screams as she heard his foot swivel as she passed. She felt his eyes on her, and she knew he had turned.
