A commentator’s voice, breathy and whispering, accompanied the images.
“Little is known of this species. Its habitat is difficult to find, and requires a vast amount of planning and patience to bring you the images of what you are about to see. This is rare footage of the mating dance and its consequences.”
“The male is on the left, the female on the right. The male tries to impress the female initially with his appearance, as he struts in front of her. He adds dance movements to try and impress the female further. Sometimes this succeeds the first time, but the male needs to be persistent, as the female on most occasions ignores him and walks away.”
Here the image turns to the male, showing an elaborate dance, consisting of flapping and twists and turns trying to impress the female. The female can be seen looking on, unimpressed.
“This is one of those times when the male needs to give up and move on to another female. This particular female is not ready to mate, and the male must look elsewhere.”
“He may have to change his approach in the future, by varying the colors or by changing his movements in the dance. This happens occasionally, but the male is a slow learner and stays with what nature has given him. The reality is he may never mate.”
Here the commentator’s whispering, breathy voice adds emotion to the poignant images on the screen as the male slouches off, tail between his legs, the look of defeat all too apparent in his movements.
“When the efforts of the male have the desired effect on the female,” continues the voice, “an elaborate sequence of events are set in motion. Ever more sophisticated gestures and showcasing happens to keep the female interested. It could take days, weeks or even months in some cases, but eventually all the attention of the male culminates in mating. Some mate for life, others do not and these move from female to female.”
“Hidden cameras in their habitat has caught the intricacies of the actual act of mating and is fascinating to watch.”
Maggie lay on the bed, and, like opening her arms to embrace a loved one, she opened her legs wide inviting him into her.
Ben stood at the foot of the bed, straight and tall, but didn't move. Instead, his eyes flowed slowly down her body like water down a lazy stream. His eyes moved from her long, black hair splayed over her pillow, to her dark eyes that took in every inch of him. He moved passed her small, aquiline nose and high cheek bones to her mouth. He paused, imagining his cock parting those sweet looking lips, and he felt movement in his groin. He smiled.
