My names Laura and I am a 26 year old lawyer, I’m blonde, 5ft 7 and slim, I work in London but spend much of my weekends at home with my parents in Swansea, Wales. I do not normally travel back to London on a Sunday morning but this weekend I had tickets for a show on Sunday night so thought I would head back early and relax in the afternoon before I headed out that evening.

It was 4am and my train was leaving Swansea station in half an hour, this is not a great place to be when you are perfectly sober when all around are heading home after a heavy night of drinking, I felt as though I was the only sober one there and felt slightly uncomfortable, but I saw the guard for the train and I got on and to my seat before the rest of the train filled up with rowdy revellers, I took my seat in 1st class and waited for the train to leave.

I was the only one sat in first class, but I could hear the singing from the other carriages, this was not a normal weekend, Wales had just beaten England in the 6 nations Rugby and I think most people had been drinking since before the game had started, it was a fun atmosphere but I prefer to sit here in relative silence, I normally spend my time watching DVDs or some television shows that I download for the journey to watch on my laptop.

I looked at my watch just as the train pulled out of the station, it was dead on 4:30am and I relaxed a bit more, I did not want to get my laptop out until we had left the next station as I knew most of the drunken passengers would be getting off there, I only had to wait 10 minutes, I was not sure what was downloaded to watch but I was sure I would find something suitable.

I decided to watch a DVD rather than something I downloaded so I put on Something About Mary, a film I never get fed up in watching, I had a four hour journey ahead of me so I removed my jacket, put in my headphones and sat back and relaxed and watched the movie, when I was watching it I was giggling to myself, something I often find myself doing, after the movie had ended I decided to give my eyes a rest and closed the lid on my laptop.
