WE TWO ARE ONE

                   After his busy schedule in the office Jithan was so tired. He was just relaxed when he entered his car. Jithan was working as a software professional in one of the multi national company situated in the IT park of Bangalore. He belongs to a very poor family. His father was a mason and the earning of his father was the only income in the family. His mother was an ordinary house wife. But his father never cared about their family so his mother has to work as maid in the neighboring houses. Jithan was her eldest son, he had two sisters. He was a very bright student in school and also he was talented in each and every event. He did part time jobs such as loading and unloading of vegetables in the market, did small help in an automobile workshop, did gardening in near by Hindu saints convent. His mother held her all future in him and he also was like a father to his sisters as he loved and cared them more than their father did. His father rerely came to their home. Actually he was having another wife and kid. He lived only for them. Jithan considered his poverty as a tonic to aim higher. He scored first rank in the SSLC examination and Plus Two examinations. He wrote the Engineering Entrance exam without any additional coaching and managed to get admission in merit seat.

 

                                   In college also he was a star. Jithan was a very tall guy with firm body and a honey complexion. Many girls in his college dreamed of becoming his lover. But he loved his family more. So he worked hard and scored good marks. He used to work as news paper boy and auto rickshaw driver in his college days after course completion he was selected as software professional in a multinational company by campus interview. He worked hard and climbed the stairs of success.

                   Slowly his poverty also ended. His sisters were married off in good levels. But Jithan forgot about himself. He reached the age of thirty five. His mother was worried about his marriage. Jithan was covered with proposals of so many girls with high qualification and good financial back ground. But he informed his mother that he needs only a poor girl who cares about him and his family. Thus the proposal of Shilpa came, she was from his village. She was working as a nursery school teacher. She was also from a poor family and was unable to give dowries.
