The Madam Duchess | by Liliana Hart June 16, 2011 | $0.99 | 13051 words | Sample 15% |
| Author bio: Liliana Hart spent five years teaching music in the public education system. She molded America’s youth, busted kids for smoking pot in the restrooms, and broke up illicit affairs behind the stage on a regular basis, so she finally decided to hang up her hat and let someone else have all the fun. (Liliana’s Addison Holmes Mystery Series, about a small town teacher who gets into a whole lot of trouble, is somewhat autobiographical, but she won’t confess to which parts). Liliana began reading romance novels with all her new found free time, and when she ran out of things to read, she decided to write her own novels. The result was a 150,000 word thriller—a dazzling adventure—where the heroine was a thirty-year-old virgin assassin (Yes, you read that right). She couldn’t imagine why people weren’t knocking down her door to read it, but she persevered through the rejections and began writing a second book. She finally got the hang of things and eventually learned that losing one’s virginity wasn’t all that romantic after all. All of her books involve some kind of suspense (she just can't help herself), laughter, and a lot of steamy sex. Since the failure of her first writing attempt, Liliana’s books have gone on to win awards such as: The Daphne Du Maurier, The Suzannah, The Linda Howard Award of Excellence, The Maggie, and many others. Her affiliations include Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers of America. Liliana loves to cook and is addicted to reading, Internet Boggle, kickboxing, and Bones. She lives in a big, rambling house in Texas with a couple of cats to keep her company. She loves to get emails from readers. Enjoy the Adventures! |

Sacked (To Love a Governess Erotic Regency Short) | by Jane Charles June 09, 2011 | $0.99 | 15050 words | Sample 25% |
| Author bio: Jane Charles has lived in the Midwest her entire life. As a child she would more likely be found outside with a baseball than a book in her hand. In fact, Jane hated reading until she was sixteen. Out of boredom on a long road trip she borrowed her older sister’s historical romance and fell in love with reading. She long ago lost count of how many novels she has read over the years and her love for them never died. Along with romance she has a passion for history and the two soon combined when she penned her first historical romance, and she has been writing since with the loving support from her husband, three children and three cats. |

| Author bio: With a penchant for sexy, studly cowboys and rowdy, roaring rogues, Larissa is happiest when writing about strong men with a weakness for the right woman. She loves cats, chocolate, and her husband - though not necessarily in that order (brownies rank in there somewhere, as do James Bond films). She’s been a clown, a tax analyst, and a pig castrator, but none of those endeavors satisfy quite like putting pen to paper and seeing her stories come to life. Paradise - A Victorian Adventure | by Grendel Butler April 04, 2011 | $6.95 | 64918 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Grendel Butler is interested in writing fully rounded flesh-and-blood women in the BDSM genre. He is not attracted to the stereotyped helpless slave girl. He likes his women strong, resourceful, and complex. Even when cast in the sub role, they seek their own ends by manipulative means, using sex, guile, and submission itself as their weapons. Whether they’re being pleasured in the bedroom or tortured in the dungeon they’re thinking a step ahead. They don’t confuse love with sex, nor mastery with mere brutality. You will require wits as well as whips to dominate them. |

Desperate Desires | by Terri Wolffe March 26, 2011 | $3.50 | 54486 words | Sample 10% |
| Author bio: In late 2010, I was challenged by the question: “What is it that you’ve always wanted to do, but never allowed yourself to do because of fear?†The resounding answer for me was: “I’ve always wanted to write an historical romance novel!†Pouncing on that flash of inspiration, I set out to try my hand at writing my very first historical, erotic romance. Admittedly, I had to ignore the little people in my head who cried out rather loudly, “What will people think? What will people say? What if you fail and fall flat on your face?†Three months later, Desperate Desires was born. However, I’ll be the first to admit that the only reason I was able to complete it, was because the storyline had been in the back of my head for close to 20 years. At base, I am an avid reader, I have always enjoyed suspense, thrillers, some paranormal and horror, and of course, my very favorite: romance. My list of cherished authors includes Susan Johnson, Elizabeth Boyle, Robyn Williams, John Connolly, Lee Child, Scott Turrow, John Grisham, Dan Mahoney, Steven Bochco and Phillip Margolin. But these are just a few. I’m not much of a television watcher, so on any day of the week, you’ll find me reading a book. Best Wishes, Terri Wolffe P.S. If you purchased a copy of Desperate Desires, please accept my tremendous gratitude. In these times, when many of us are mindful of our budgets, I consider it a blessing whenever anyone gives of themselves. It is my sincere hope that you find Desperate Desires worth your money spent. |

| Author bio: Sometime in her formative years, Shira decided to skip any story without an HEA. A die-hard romantic, she discovered the world of M/M romance when a fellow writer convinced her to co-author a love story between a violinist and a conductor. Shira is a former violinist professional opera singer. She adores anime, manga, yaoi, sushi and anything remotely Japanese (not to mention sake!). She's given up TV for evenings spent on her laptop, and doesn't go anywhere without her pile of unread M/M romance on her Kindle. Shira is married with 2 children and 2 insane dogs, and when she's not writing, she's in the courtroom trying to make the world safer for children. When she's not working, she can be found aboard a 30' catamaran at the Carolina coast, with her favorite sexy captain at the wheel. Virgin Star | by Jennifer Horsman Jan. 24, 2011 | $9.99 | 120152 words | Sample 30% |
| Author bio: was born and raised in San Francisco, California. I moved south to finish my college degree at the University of California at Irvine. Here I fell instantly and madly in love with one of my professors, who I finally convinced to marry me. While most of my life force was sucked up by a steady stream of kids, dogs and cats, I managed to write a few books. (I included a picture of the love of my life, Osea, a nutty and funny Newfie. She's not really a dog, but rather an extension of my personality.) I currently live in Laguna Beach, California. Things I love: life, the ocean, good books, Ashtanga yoga, redwood forests, most people, all animals, long walks and stormy nights. In addition to historical romance novels, I write children's novels and non-fiction, plays and screenplays. Now, about e-publishing: I am a voracious reader,(favorite authors: Toni Morrison, JM Coetzee, David Mitchell, Joyce Carol Oates and Margaret Atwood) and between my friends and I, we have sony readers, kindles, nooks, and quite a few Ipads. Ebooks are an amazing development in the ancient art of reading and writing. I wanted to be a part of it. Fortunately, historical romances never go out of date or fashion. I am currently working on a novel The Weight of God. I love hearing from readers--contact me at jaejflowers@gmail.com! |
